Probably my favorite of the Alex Cross series. As usual, the only characters truly written in three dimensions are the members of the Cross family. The fact that the bad guys are always two dimensional does not detract from the stories…

Disappointed with this story. Usually enjoy the family interactions. Story was way too insane to believe or get invested in.

Easy read, but once again completely predictable. I usually can't put down a book, but I could this one. It's a typical Patterson book with the typical Cross story. It's pretty bland compared to the many other Alex Cross books.

As usual I really enjoyed this book. It was quite a different start but it all came together with a good surprise. Look forward to next one.

Sometimes coming home involves more than revisiting old memories. Alex Cross and family get caught up in a web of lies and danger when they go to the deep South. This is another tense thriller in the series.

After reading a few co-authored books by James Patterson, it was a pleasure to read one that he wrote himself. It revealed what happened to Alex Cross during his childhood which was interesting. The story wasn't too graphic or violent…

Finally, Patterson has gotten back to writing good books, again, without being over-the-top graphic and sadistic as some of recent volumes.

Took 100+ pages to get into this book. Found it tiring to read about the Cross family, - especially their daughter who was probably spun into the plot? Overall quite a disappointment. No real action apart from Coco's psycho murders. A…

I must say I have read 70+ James Patterson books and all of the Alex Cross series. I was so disappointed in this book. It lacked excitement, chase and capture and I found myself dozing instead of clawing to turn the page for what happens…

If this book was written by an unknown author, I don't think it would have been published. What a disappointment! It does not do JUSTICE to Alex Cross or his fans.

One of his Alex Cross's best!!!

Contrarian view. Could chop 100 pages worth of verbiage and rambling dialogue. Ending so far fetched as to be laughable.

This is good addition to the Cross series. Background into Alex Cross is revealed and it is quite interesting and makes a good read. There is an ending that was not seen coming but quite satisfying. Patterson continues to bring Alex to…

I enjoy the cross series and this one was just as good as all the other ones. I really liked the ending to this one which I believe makes it alittle better then most of his other books in the series. James Patterson knows how to write a…
