Excellent words of truth! Many of my family members were victims of this discrimination. Ask yourself why this was never added to our American history books? Because the truth & lies are real. It has always been interpretative and narrative framed that many black people just don't work hard enough. This book and information is just one obstacle that plagued blacks. The rabbit hole is deeper than you think.

Great read!

One of the best history books ever written about Chicago.
