This is not an album of previously unrecorded works; instead, it features arrangements, variations and bits and bobs played on a clavichord (3 separate ones, one being Mozart's own, I believe). These pieces were not written FOR clavichord, however it presents a new aural experience when compared to the harpsichord. I quite enjoyed Hogwood's energetic and graceful interpretations.
