What a creative, talented, and brave American.
i wonder how he would be protesting today.
He worked until he was very old; he's a great model for active aging.
I liked how he built his own house in the woods.
This film is a good biography of Pete Seeger.

Words cannot fully express how much I absolutely LOVED this documentary! First off, the music alone transported me back to the 60's sitting around a campfire, with my best friends.

Now, After watching this, I can't think of a single human being, whom I would consider a greater American, or a more inspiring hero, who embodies all the very best of America. His life story is all the more extraordinary because for many years, due to McCarthyism, this incredibly talented, humble, giving and thoughtful man was blacklisted from all American media for many years.

So much important American history is beautifully woven into this entertaining and captivating story. It is moving, inspiring and affirming of humanity. You simply must watch it!

Interesting to me, not so much my teen when we used this for a homeschooling unit. I guess it needed a thumping bass or something like that.
