You know, if I were to sum up this truly dismal travelogue-documentary of Venice in one word - I'd definitely have to say that the word "terrible", pretty much, describes it to a "T".
With its annoyingly blurry images, its painfully irritating repetitiveness and its chronically boring narration, this tour of Venice sucked, big-time.
I could never imagine a fiasco documentary like this ever enticing anybody (in their right mind) to ever want to visit Venice, at all.
Be warned! - This is truly a shoddy, bottom-of-the-barrel production on all counts.
Hello!? Are you ready for a totally awful, bargain-basement tour of Venice? Well, if you are, then, you need look no further than this utterly inferior DVD called Venice: Queen of the Adriatic.
After watching the z-grade production, I certainly have no desire, at all, to ever go to Venice to check it out for myself.
I mean, this presentation was all stills, with no live-action footage shown at all. And not only were many, many of these stills shown more than once throughout this DVD's 30-minute running time, but a large percentage of them were also completely out of focus, as well.
Sheesh!... Like, talk about ultra-cheap, or what!?
This DVD also lost itself some major points for its super-boring narration and its product placement of Schwepp's tonic water, too.
And, what ultimately killed me about this garbage tour of Venice was USA Today's blurb on the DVD's cover saying - "Watch the video, then rush out and buy tickets!" (Ha! What a laugh and a half that was!)
