It was okay. The plot was quite flimsy and the main character felt unfinished but overall, an okay read

Good author with interesting character. Story line is good and I do not mind the references to his training - gives balance and development of the character.

Look forward to reading the other books in the series.

A great character and it starts with a good premise - but soon 'wanders' . I get irritated with his constant references to how the hero was trained. Often things happen without any clarity of how or why. - |He has promise, and this is only his first novel - I'll try the second, maybe he'll improve
