and if you enjoyed these, there is also available british films in a compendium package.with a similar theme. i recommend anything starring the luscious diana dors./ a stray thought: If James Dean had survived the hit, would he have eventually ended up doing porn, and, if so, would it have been 'gay porn' or would it have been 'straight porn' that he would have ended up doing (if his hot career in Hollywood, had fizzled).

So far have only seen Night Nurse starring Barbara Stanwyck - interesting period piece with women as professional nurses in a male dominated arena.

All good, some films better than others. What is really fun is to see are well known actors in their beginning roles, such as Clark Gable. He was the "bad guy" in a number of these flicks.

I only saw Night Nurse. It was great to see Stany early in her career. Clark Gable stilll is trying his wings and evil.

I didn't watch all of the films but out of the 3 I did watch, I loved Female with Ruth Chatterton and a handsome George Brent. Chatterton plays an alpha female executive who runs a car company and has a habit of taking home to the mansion she lives in, her male employees to "discuss business". The dialogue is quick, snappy with a sense of humor and just the right amount of camp. Good fun. The Divorcee and Night Nurse the other 2 I watched were painless. The Divorcee would've been better if an actress with more depth than Norma Shearer had played it and Night Nurse is enjoyable but odd. Dvd's for the latter 2 titles are NOT in good condition and I tried cleaning them.
