Adam is a strong film that is tough to watch. I continuously felt sorry for the main character, Adam, who has Asperger's Syndrome. The script is written so that we do feel bad for him. The film opens with his father passing away and he now lives alone, which is new territory for Adam. Asperger's ... Read More »

I enjoyed this movie and it’s ending. It is not exactly a happy Hollywood ending. But it is a happy ending if you look at how much the main character grew personally and socially from his relationship with Beth. It also depicts nicely the struggles Adam has to live in the neurotypical world and the positive impact Adam has on others when he shares with them his take on the world. Would recommend.

Enjoyed how they took a very untypical romance to show that anything is possible, and that letting go of what others think, and being genuine really pays off.

Good movie, opens your heart and mind to those whose life is not so rosy, makes you appreciate your life more.

I enjoyed the extras on the DVD. Be sure to watch them if you rent this movie. Also, I read online, during the preparation/filming of the movie that Hugh Dancy, the lead actor, was diagnosed as having Asperger%E2%80%99s.

A different kind of love story. Adam is a person that you can't help but love and protect. A great movie to watch with your girlfriends or by yourself.

A-typical "romantic comedy" (for lack of a better classification). It's well done, if a bit lacklustre.

Must view this delightful film. Feel all the emotions of Adam as he is drawn out of his shell and into the world around him by Beth his
new neighbour.

This unusual & well acted romance / character drama contains moments of extraordinary delicacy.

Wonderful film with a lot of heart. I enjoyed seeing a new spin on the romantic comedy genre. Hugh Dancy portrays Adam perfectly and this film is another excellent showcase of his great talent.
My only problem with this film was one scene that was inappropriate, unnecessary, hurtful, and completely untrue.
