Sometimes what's in your head isn't as crazy as you think ... that's certainly true for Craig, a stressed-out teenager who checks himself into a mental health clinic for some time out. What he finds instead is an unlikely mentor, a potential new romance and an opportunity to begin anew. Charming, witty and smart, it's a coming-of-age story that's kind of a funny story.

This film is about all sorts of relationships…friendships, first loves, etc. Although many films about relationships veer off onto predictable roads of sex and happily-ever-after, this film proudly proclaims that nothing is predictable. After all, this is a mental hospital. Happily-ever-after fo... Read More »

Really interesting story that I almost didn't continue with. Worth the time. I liked the characters and their sometimes unusual personalities. Minus half a star because of the sexual innuendos.

wonderful, creative, different movie, with really fun and interesting characters.

This was an OK movie, a little slow throughout but harmless with some good humour. Not a must see but not a complete waste of time.

I liked this movie. I don't know what people were expecting? It to be a major comedy because of the name of the film? Mental health issues aren't always funny. Some kids are over stressed and don't know how to deal with it. I am glad that no one killed themselves. I really thought that the guy would at the end of the movie before he got to go to the half way house. Watch it!

Some good lines but just "OK" for me.

Don't listen to naysayers. Great film which is probably not meant to be a true representation of a psych ward. Lots of laugh out loud moments and Zach Galifianakis' performance seems heartfelt. It's more of a portrayal of the outside world than of those with serious mental illness so don't take it as such. Highly recommend.

Meh. We didn't turn it off after 20 minutes, but there's very little that's rewarding in this movie. The Queen tribute scene was fun. The drawing scene was pretty neat. Otherwise, unrealistic and not worth it, really. There are plenty of other, funnier stories out there in the wide world.

An excellent feel-good comedy that really gets all the emotions & connections going. Really enjoyed it.

decent actors, but the material just wasn't up to it being a great movie.

I thought this movie will be funnier or better but I found it ok. i should've read the book before watching the movie cuz i found the book amazing. I did like some parts and I think they picked the perfect cast. I like Bobby. Like i said on the book reveiw I woul've like him to be a real main character in the book but it could go either way. Overall not bad. Three Stars.
