Batman: Arkham Asylum, the first game to the Batman: Arkham game series, which presents the classic story of Batman stopping the Joker. The story revolves around the Joker taking over Arkham Asylum and trying to create an army of superhumans using a drug called "Titan." This drug can exert incredible powers and the character Bane is an experiment of the use of Titan. To limit the use of this drug, Batman seeks help from Poison Ivy to help create a cure for the creation of any superhumans. Throughout the game, Batman continues to find ways to stop the Joker's actions before confronting him. In my opinion, although this game has been praised by many, I personally didn't find the game entertaining. The story wasn't fun to follow along and it became sort of repetitive after completing around half the story. However, the combat and stealth elements of the game were really well done and it made the game somewhat enjoyable. Overall, Batman: Arkham Asylum has some positive features, but a couple of negative features. But, if you like Batman and want to play a game involving Batman, you could give this game a try. Rating 3/5.

There is a reason it was called the game of the year, because of the amazing graphics and how all the voices were the actual people from the cartoon! Also the story is gripping and enough villains to make you think can Batman really do this?

The only point I would disagree on with regards to the above poster: It's not the best Batman game ever. It's the best SUPERHERO game ever.

This game reinvented the stealth genre, as well as the beat-em-up genre in one fell swoop. I can't wait for the sequel in October...

Best Batman game ever, same cast as the old 1992 cartoon show. I grew up watching it so if you havent seen the Batman Animated Series check it out, best batman ever. Game is really good with great story, lots of back tracking to complete tasks so dont try and complete everything as you will be back to thats spot later.
