“No one should approach the temple of science with the soul of a money changer.” (Thomas Brown, Religio Medici)

“Should”, I wish (considering human nature).

Chapter by chapter, I screamed “Murderers”(as if to someone specific), a respite taken at Epilogue where solutions (not against human nature) shown effective.

An ultimate read of a true, deep, and comprehensive account on drug industry and medical research in our time.

Dear Baby Boomers, please read this book ! You created the mess, now look who is going to go under the knife. There are a few good books about the pharma industry and I recommend this one in full.

A well-written, well-thought out book which, taken with Merrill Goozner's "The $800 Million Pill" will endow the reader with an encyclopedic range of the problem.

Left-wing rant about how companies are all out to target the blacks and the tribals. 'Gimme, gimme' mentality; Harriet Washington wants everything to be free for the liberals to take. Would have gone into the trash basket but alas, it was a library copy.
