Overall, not too shabby. I really related well with the main heroine, and the characters were well thought out. I tend to not like the stereotypical romance novels, so that's saying a lot for me. However, plot wise, it did drag in some spots. It was pretty predictable what was going to happen, and I felt there wasn't anything new added to this novel to make it stand out.
I really enjoy Lin's historical romances, both because they're well-written and for the unusual Chinese setting. I think this take on My Fair Lady is her best yet.
