While I definitely know more about economics than I did before reading this book, unfortunately I found the author's claim to be the solution to an economy "shrouded in jargon and dry numbers" false. An unfortunate amount of this book was pure jargon and I'm afraid I actually understood less than a third of it at best. If you already have a good handle on economic jargon, then you might find this book quite engaging, as the read itself is hardly dry. But if you, like me, are looking for an easy introduction to understanding the economy from the very ground up, then I recommend looking for that start elsewhere.

Decent summary of the myriad of economic topics in contemporary consciousness. Easy read. Not too in-depth to be confusing or obscure. Somewhat practical to better understand economic topics tho not for investing reference.
