I read this with my children, through the whole book I kept asking myself 'what the heck?'. On the first page the main character just wants to read a book, but her mom wants her to dance at a big party. Then a bunch of weird stuff happens and At the end of the book the main character dances at the big party...the essential message I got from this was being introverted or wanting to read is undesirable, people should wear fancy dresses and party. A kids book with the message not to read books, bravo! In my opinion this book is terrible, if that wasn't obvious already.

This book was the best have you girls watched the movie i did on T.v and on DVD it was so good i barrowed this book before it was really good but i think the movie is the best .
