Ever weighs over 300 pounds and she makes sure to never forget it thanks to the voice inside her head named Skinny. Struggling to overcome her weight even in everyday tasks, Ever jumps at the chance to take a surgery to help her lose weight. Although the side effects are more extreme than what she originally thought, thanks to Rat and maybe even her not-so-evil stepsister, Ever starts to feel more confident in herself and her abilities. But Skinny can’t have that, so Ever is forced to face her inner demons and confront her dark thoughts. This is a powerful tale of self-discovery and empowerment. Ever’s personality and situation is just so lovable and relatable that she is sure to touch many hearts in the years to come. Great plot, great twists and a great ending message. Rating:5/5
