As one librarian to another - please tell me how you rate this book TRAVEL (yes it is in big print, in red and on the spine)? This was one of the most important books to come out of the 2nd wave of feminism in the 1970s. For goodness sake - TRAVEL? Maybe the journey Germaine Greer made towards a new way of seeing women in society? Maybe the journey the reader was making following her thinking? One copy? Just one copy for the whole of this enormous library system? Just one copy for a book that changed the way we thought, that changed the way women operated in society? Phew.
