SummaryAdd a Summary
After the death of Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze know that they must find out who the third of their prophecy is. Meanwhile, Dovekit and Ivykit are poised to become apprentices. They are the daughters of Whitewing, who is the daughter of Cloudtail, who is the nephew of Firestar. They are the kin of Firestar, like the prophecy said. "There will be three, kin of your kin..." Jayfeather and Lionblaze know either Ivykit or Dovekit must be their third, they need only wait for the one to show their power. And when Dovekit senses something so far away that not even Jayfeather could smell it, she does just that. But when Jayfeather and Lionblaze confront her and tell her of the prophecy, she is terrified. She only wants to be like her sister, and the rest of the clan. But unfortunately, that is not her destiny. Her destiny is much greater than her sister or the rest of her clan.
In this book a cat named dovepaw becomes an apprentice to lionblaze, and jayfeather and lionblaze figure out she is 1 of the three cats who hold the power of the stars in there paws. A great drought hits the forest(OK NOT SO GREAT DROUGHT)
hits the forest and dovepaw si the 1 to figure out that the water is being blocked by BEAVERS. so she and some other cats set off to stop the drought and save the day, and on the way dovepaw wishes, and tries to deny her power of being able to see, and hear far away things. LOVED THIS BOOK ALOT
A drought has hit the forest, and all the Clans are suffering. When it is discovered that Dovepaw can see and hear events occuring from far away, she finds out that a beaver dam is causing their troubles. A patrol of two cats from each Clan goes to deconstruct the dam. In the ensuing battle with the beavers, Rippletail of RiverClan is killed, but the dam is broken, restoring water flow to the lake. Dovepaw is the Fourth Apprentice, who will complete the prophecy of the Three.
