Forty novels after his Edgar Award-winning debut, Stuart Woods—and his indomitable creation, Stone Barrington—show no signs of slowing down. In Son of Stone, Barrington has returned to New York City after an eventful reunion with his former lover, Arrington Calder. But Barrington's plans for earning some extra cash from the law firm of Woodman & Weld go awry when Calder introduces him to the son he unknowingly fathered years before.

I liked this Audiobook CD by Woods, Stuart. I like this author and his style. It is too violent and sexual for children to listen to. This is a murder mystery sleuthing story. The twists and turns in the story keep you interested. Stone marries his ex-lover who is the mother of his son, Peter. Stone spends more time with his son becoming more active in the son's daily life. Stone's wife is murdered by her ex-lover (not Stone). Peter makes friends with Dino's son Ben. Peter meets the woman who composes music for his movies and they fall in love. Peter, Ben and girl friend move in together and attend the same university. Stone & Dino are close friends.

One of his better books, very entertaining. 8 of 10 for me.

One death too many nearly ruins this otherwise outstanding novel that is much better than Bel-Air Dead. It should have been a 10 star instead of only 8 of 10 stars.
