If there is only one book you have time to checkout on DIY skincare and homemade beauty care products, this would be the book to read and possibly own. For one it was only published last year, and for seconds, it's everything you need to have a good foundation and there's amazing recipes to boot. The author Shannon Buck is a formally-trained herbalist and aromatherapist from Bastyr University, not just a popular casual beauty blogger. The book has the most beautiful layout, illustrations and photos. Most of the other books on natural beauty care are mostly just textual, but this book is so dynamic! It's also very complete and informational. The ingredients in the recipes are all-natural and non-controversial, which I like a lot. I think this book should be used in a short-course on DIY natural beauty. It's fabulous and I would heartily recommend it with 5 stars! After going through a dozen of these type of books, this is my favorite so far!
