December’s Smorgasbook was One Pot and was highly anticipated by our group. We found the active and total time features extremely helpful as well as the one pot, four ways features. These recipes are truly one pot and contain desserts and vegetarian options. All of the recipes fit on one page which lends them to convenience but a few recipes needed more detailed instruction. Each pot featured has use instructions and tips on buying. Adventurous eaters should bring their spice rack and hot sauce along when cooking these recipes. Overall great pictures and layout make this cook book a solid choice for the cook and cookbook reader.

I made a half recipe of Spiced Cod with Couscous(3 servings for me). It was an easy summer recipe; the fresh mint and lemon juice made a difference. I'll make it again. I copied several other recipes for cooler weather.

I have never put a hold on a cookbook before it was even released. However, after seeing a handful of these recipes in action on The Today Show I just had to reserve this book! I've never been so excited to get a cookbook! I will update my comment and rate the book after I get it and try out some recipes!
