Full of exciting court intrigue. Somewhat cliché occasionally, but an entertaining tale.

When the king and his heir die suddenly in battle and the fate of the kingdom is left in the hands of the royal 17 year old twins, everything seems peaceful, until it is discovered that under the law, no two people can have the same claim to the throne, so one must be eliminated.

An intriguing and fun story of royal plotting, betrayal, romance, and competition. Many secrets yet to be revealed.

The premise of this book was quite intriguing. Right down to the core, it feels very Hunger Games meets Game of Thrones. Curious to see where the author will take the story line in her next book.
