From Library Staff

Swede Lisa Lemke knows how to cook for cold weather, mixing Scandinavian dishes with the more familiar. Best of all, many of the recipes can be made in a single pot or pan. Fitting for the food stylist and television chef, Lemke's book is graced with tantalizing photos.

This book has such wonderful recipes for a cozy night in with friends and family. My husband was especially interested in the Cinnamon Roll Bread pudding. The recipe calls for eight day old cinnamon rolls to be used as the base. We would never have left over cinnamon rolls!
I love all the hearty soups and casseroles. Also look at the pasta dishes!
