"He felt the mesh of the Vibranium under his fingertips, smooth yet hard at the same time. It almost seemed like it pulsed. Like it wanted to be worn. 'This is the suit of the Black Panther,' T'Challa whispered. 'The suit of my father and his father before him.' He let the fabric fall from his hands and unfurl toward the floor. 'I have to do this,' he said. 'I have no choice.'"--Page [4] of cover.

This story is about T’Challa, the prince of Wakanda, and how he has to go to Chicago because Wakanda is at the brink of war over a strong material called Vibranium. Vibranium is a super metal that is like iron but almost as strong as diamonds. Once he arrives with his friend M’Baku, he makes some friends, Sheila, and Zeke. When they find something weird in their school, they set out to investigate. Adventure ensues when the 3 tackle all sorts of problems and obstacles. I found that this book was a fantastic read and I recommend that everyone read it, even your mom!

I was a big fan of the movie, but I had never read a comic or any other story around the Black Panther. It took me a few minutes to get past anything that was changed from the movie story line since it was my first introduction to the character, but it was a really great book. I would def recommend it to anyone who wanted an enjoyable read and for kids who wanted more Black Panther or a good middle school aged adventure.
