Hope Anderson is at a crossroads. At thirty-six, she's been dating her boyfriend, an orthopedic surgeon, for six years. With no wedding plans in sight, and her father recently diagnosed with ALS, she decides to use a week at her family's cottage in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, to ready the house for sale and mull over some difficult decisions about her future. Tru Walls has never visited North Carolina but is summoned to Sunset Beach by a letter from a man claiming to be his father. A safari guide, born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tru hopes to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding his mother's early life and recapture memories lost with her death. When the two strangers cross paths, their connection is as electric as it is unfathomable...but in the immersive days that follow, their feelings for each other will give way to choices that pit family duty against personal happiness in devastating ways.-- Publisher's description.

"Every Breath" is entertaining yet predictable. "The Notebook" was far superior, the book as well as the movie.

Nicholas Sparks is a very talented author. I cant wait for the next one to come out. Wish it was more often. Every Breath was an awesome book. Thank you for entertaining us for hours.

I like this novel very much. It was interesting right from the start, but towards the end it was fast and furious, much to my dislike. I still would recommend this read. The ending was excellent.

This book is vintage Nicholas Sparks. I didn't care for his last two books as well as the ones before, but this is truly one of his best.

A must read! This story was easy to read and lose track of time. The story was captivating leaving me wondering what direction the story would lead. It was easy to relate to the characters and would be a story I would re-read again. It makes you realize how impactful the choices we make are and how vulnerability of uncertainty and hope plays in our lives. This was a wonderful book to read.

Have always enjoyed Sparks' novels, but found this one to be one of the best. Reminiscent of a love story as told in The Notebook this tells the story of two people who meet and fall in love but separate. From the beginning you are caught up in their story of love and you are soon a part of it, and not just an observer. He has captured their journey and love and you as the reader from the first page. Truly a winner which will make you smile and cry - just a beautiful story.

I enjoy getting this information each Saturday morning.
