I usually don't enjoy making-of/backstage movies, but the cinematography here was very effective, the interactions between bandmates were well-shown (instead of making this a completely one-man show), and you can't fight that toe-tapping music. Good film!

WOW! Would have LOVED to see this in a theatre before the screens became not much larger than my flatscreen. Epic portrayal of an epic band whose music is still enjoyable some 40 plus years later. Beautiful!

Deserves all the praise it has received by the film industry and the movie goers of the world. Undoubtedly the success of a movie about the rock group Queen will mean many more movies about legendary musical legends. Can't wait!!!

Loved this movie! I watched it not knowing anything about Freddie Mercury, but really got to like him. The music is the part I loved most.

We enjoyed the movie very much. Well told story. Great acting. The Live Aid concert reenactment is a cherry on top. I did not even mind some of the "soap opera" moments - the rest of the movie made up for those. Rami Malek definitely deserved the Oscar.

Interesting look at the life of Freddie Mercury and the rise of Queen. It's often difficult to tell how much time is passing in the film; it begins with the band members meeting and ends with the Live Aid concert (5 years before Freddie died). Still, Mercury (Malek) is a sympathetic character whose diva/artist behavior and flamboyant bravado conceals a deep loneliness. The movie serves as a solid introduction to the band and the artist and introduces a new audience to their music. Look for current Queen front man, Adam Lambert, in a brief cameo.

Entertaining if flawed biopic about Freddie Mercury and the trajectory of his career with the band Queen. Solid performances all around with the justifiably award winning Rami Malek playing Mercury, "Downton Abbey"'s Allen Leech in an unexpected role, and a fun cameo with Mike Myers. I loved how the musical numbers are presented but I would have liked to have seen a little more depth in character development; and when filmmakers mess with the timeline of actual events it always frustrates me. But overall well worth seeing for fans of Mercury and Queen's music.

Amazing! Made me even more obsessed with Freddie Mercury and Queen's music. It transcends generations.

Good movie, moved quickly. Fun part was how some of the songs came together.

Reporter 2: Freddie, uh, your teeth! Why don't you get your teeth fixed?
Freddie Mercury: I live in Britain. I don't want to stand out.
Freddie Mercury: I have four extra incisors.

*** expanded quote on his incisors:
Our lead singer just quit.
-Well, then you'll need someone new.
Any ideas?
-What about me?
Uh, not with those teeth, mate.
- Freddie sang: I know what I'm doin' ... I got a feeling ...
The others harmonizing: Doin' all right
-I was born with four additional incisors. More space in my mouth means more range.
