One of the Spider-Man variations living inside the Spider-Verse is Spider-Man, Peter Parker, who guides Miles in his journey as the new Spider-Man and introduces him to the multitude of other Spider-Men, including Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Ham. I have not read any of the comics these characters are based on, but now I want to. What a fun, innovative concept! I hope adult Marvel fans aren't skipping this one just because it's animated--it's really, really well done and surprising in all the best ways.

It was okay. I think Miles learned how to use his powers too late in the movie. I expected something way better than that, not that it was really bad or anything but it just wasn't as good as some movies. Kingpin's (the main villain) body dimensions really bothered me, as everybody else was as realistic as cartoon animations go but his was just WRONG. I would recommend this movie to anybody just for the sake of, 'it's a spider man movie.' 3.5/5 stars.

A great animated feature film from Marvel say it isn't so or it's about time! Either way this is without a doubt ONE of the most important things to come from Marvel in a long time and Adults will love it as well as kids.DEFINITELY a must see!

This is an animated movie based on the character Miles Morales. Miles gets bitten by a radioactive spider and gains new spider-like abilities. He soon meets several versions of Spider-Man from different dimensions. All the superheroes work together to fight multiple super-villains, with Wilson Fisk being the primary antagonist. One aspect of the movie that clearly makes it great is the outstanding animation and effects. No wonder the film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In addition to that, the characters have unique personalities and their own issues that they deal with, which adds to the complexity of the film. The character arcs are formed well as the superheroes eventually learn to take the leap of faith in order to become someone better. The film has some humour and action, and it’s highly entertaining. Another great thing about it is that it takes a fresh approach to Spider-Man due to its unique concept. I would give it 4.5 stars. @Riveting_Reviews of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Wow. I heard this was good, but I was really impressed, and I typically already like Marvel movies. This is absolutely in the top three Spider-man movies, and there's a solid argument for it being #1, because it nails EVERYTHING. If you are familiar with Spider-man's comic history, boy are you in for a treat.

If there's any flaw I have, it's that some of the supporting characters are used much more than other ones. Perhaps the movie is better for it, but I would have liked to see one of the outliers be a little more active.

This movie had awesome animation! It has a true comic book feel with the animation and action!

I was perfectly prepared for a standard (only slightly worse since animated, and even worse since YA) superhero movie. I was pleasantly surprised. There is some depth and wit here.

I really like the storyline, but the animation is bad. There is almost always a double edge/blurriness to the images. I actually had to check and make sure I had my glasses on at first because of this. It's worth the watch if you can get around the animation though.

Not since the original Incredibles have I been this impressed with a super-hero film. Don't let the unusual animation style turn you away-the plot is excellent, the humor spot-on, and I can't say enough good things about the writing.
Satisfying, funny, and wholly original, Spider-man: Into the Spiderverse well deserved the "best animated feature" award it received. Kid-friendly to boot!
