I thought this season was a bit slow as far as pacing, but it is well directed and the costumes are a joy to see, especially all those beautiful gowns! Several new character arcs open up, including that of Bertie (Albert and Victoria's eldest son) who is struggling with learning; Skerrett and Francatelli; Joseph, a footman, and Sophie, a married duchess. Additionally, a deadly wave of cholera hits London with brutal force. This series ends on a cliffhanger, leaving us with a need to see the next season stat.

This series does such a great job of bringing history to life in a fascinating way. I hope it goes on for a few more seasons.

By far the best season of the show. The politics and drama ramp up to 11 without becoming incoherent.

This series continues to be excellent, beautifully directed and well-cast. The third season of "Victoria" sees Queen Victoria and Prince Albert attempting to navigate the changes in their relationship over the course of their marriage, changes brought about by time (ten years) and children (7 of them). We also see a social shift in England, as the Chartists call for the common man to be able to vote, and a royal visit to Ireland in the wake of the famine. I binged this whole season in one evening.
