For one special security guard, tracking people down is a paranormal sort of hobby. Able to use his rare abilities to find people, David Dunn is suddenly given a job that seems more daunting than all the others before it. He'll need to find Kevin Wendell Crumb, and time is of the essence. But part of the problem is that Crumb is an extremely disturbed man and with 24 personalities, he's a lot more complicated than the others Dunn has found.

There are many good things to love here! Unfortunately, there are also several weak spots. I enjoyed to see these characters face each other, but in general, the movie doesn't go as fast as I would like it. And if you watch the DVD bonus material, the director says that the first cut of the movie was 3 Hours and 20 minutes. Wow.
I know the ending was disappointing to most people, but I accept it for what it is.
In perspective, M. Night Shyamalan has made some great movies, and also some awful movies. However, his greatest movies are so good, that I forgive him all his mistakes. The problem with his movies is that (in general) they are uneven. Actually, his career is the same: pretty uneven. Glass is the perfect example: this movie has some gold nuggets in it, and you may love those moments, but it also has a lot of defects.
RECOMMENDED FOR: people who watched and loved the first two movies. But let's be honest... Unbreakable was a weird movie in a sense that was genre defiant, a superhero movie with no superheroes, but what appear to be one metahuman (and a mad man in a wheelchair). Split was a great movie, and Glass is kind of in-between the two.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: if you didn't watch the first two movies, don't bother. Also, not for people who expect a movie from Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a story from M. Night Shyamalan's universe.

TH watched half the movie before I arrived home yesterday. He said he was saving me from his poor movie choices. Frankly I had no intention of watching this, (done with this Director) but thank you Honey for saving me?!?!?? :)

Edited on May 14, 2019 after watched "Unbreakable 2001." Revisited the origin of Mr. Glass (Mr. Mastermind) and last of the Trilogy on the three comic characters: Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), Unbreakable (Bruce Willis) and Split (James McAvoy.) While the title is Glass whose first appearance is well into the film, the stars are Mr. Split and the introduction of a secret cabal led by Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson). Decent story but relative to recent superhero films, embarrassingly cheap production values, half-baked finale and less-than-mediocre action/stunt scenes.

(Best viewed sequentially and suggest to watch at 1.3X or faster speed during the many ssllooowww scenes).

I enjoyed Glass, but was disappointed in the ending. Unbreakable, and Split ended well IMO. This did have the added bonus of Split's surviving victim receiving closure, and a bit more. I did like the fact they seem to bring back the original cast of the superheroes family members. Jamie, Bruce, and Samuel did an excellent job in this movie. Jamie did an amazing job as the beast, and his other 24 personalities. I did enjoy the surprise of the link of Glass to Kevin/the beast.

Convoluted storyline! Characters are overplayed and not believable. Movie relies too much on violence and lacks genuine storytelling. Disappointing!

This movie, though fictional, examines individuals that are super humans. Can you believe that some of us could possibly have super human qualities? Well. do you?

Very good movie. Shyamalan, M. Night's movies so it's kinda slow, but always ha a nice twist at the end.
