Funny, but as an adult, I think this would be overly long for kids. Only 1 disc.

It's the NBA meets the WB! This 90s pop culture relic does not look all that good in 2019. Michael Jordan (probably in his best role) plays Michael Jordan, and he and the Looney Tooners play an epic game of basketball against aliens. It's as wacky as it sounds. Some other NBA ballers have small parts, as does Bill Murray, who is refreshing. It's hard to listen to R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" given what we know now.

Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny taking down some bad aliens in basketball!

Apr 07, 2017

This is an amazing movie! It is based around Swackhammer an evil alien theme park owner, needs a new attraction at Moron Mountain. When his gang, the Nerdlucks, heads to Earth to kidnap Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes, Bugs challenges them to a basketball game to determine their fate. The aliens agree, but they steal the powers of NBA basketball players, including Larry Bird and Charles Barkley -- so Bugs gets some help from superstar Michael Jordan. I loved the whole plot and theme and storyline of the movie. When I saw the cover of the movie I thought it would be outdated, boring movie but to my surprise it was actually entertaining. I would recommend the movie to kids who like to watch or play basketball or those who like Looney tunes. Overall, this is a fantastic movie and a great classic! 5/5

This fantasy/science-fiction 90’s film is about an evil alien that owns an amusement park and is trying to kidnap characters from the Looney Toons. Bugs Bunny decides to challenge this motive by challenging the alien to a game of basketball; the winner takes all. After the alien begins to cheat by harnessing the powers of famous basketball legends, Bugs entails help from the one and only Michael Jordan. This movie was definitely silly in many ways and somewhat mocked the way basketball players are perceived, and the image of certain cartoon characters. The movie is generally entertaining and has its funny moments, so I would rate this film 3.5/5 stars.

This is probably one of the most popular movies that I have watched in my life. Space Jam features some very iconic stars – Michael Jordan, a real life six-time NBA champion known for his incredible basketball career, and characters from Looney Tune, who are not-so-real characters from a fictional universe which, nevertheless, most people are somewhat familiar with. Anyhow, Bugs Bunny finds himself in a predicament where he has to somehow get the other Looney Tune characters to participate in some sort of attraction for an amusement park. The Looney Tune characters realize that basketball is a good choice to challenge their opponents in as they are very small. But little do they know that the little guys may not be so little during their actual game. Perhaps Michael Jordan could lend them a hand.

my childhood movie that I will never forget

This film does not hold up. As a first time watcher of it in 2014, I watched it with someone who had seen it before. They seemed to like it, recalling it as delightful and whimscial and bla bla bla. Well, that assessment certainly changed by the end. It's far-fetched, and not in the way you want from the Looney Tunes. I expected more story, more fun, more something. Michael Jordan's presence is overblown and feels kind of silly now, after his big years have become something of the past. While not completely devoid of humour, I still guess this film's fanbase will always be the children of 1996. If you have fondness for this film because of that little nostalgia nugget in your mind, then it's best to leave it that way. A second screening will only leave you sour. I wouldn't recommend it.

Good for small kids. May not hold the interest of an adult very much. Movie is mostly cartoon characters & cartoon background. Semi-strong story. Not to violent for kids.

Violence: Cartoonish Looney Tunes violence is abundant, if you really want to call that violence.

Michael Jordan: Whatever you do, don't forget my North Carolina shorts.

Daffy Duck: Your shorts? From college?

Michael Jordan: I wore them under my Chicago Bulls uniform every game.

Looney Tunes: Eeewwww!

Michael Jordan: Hey! I washed them after every game!

Sylvester: Sure...

Michael Jordan: I did!
