Overall, Last Christmas was a fun, relaxing and touching Christmas film that sprinkles in the perfect amount of humour and poignant character development that made the movie stand out apart from the previous classics. It’s rom-com take on the holiday season was far from Hallmark and brought a whole new feel to the holiday season, providing a more modern take on a girl in 2019, living and working in London during that magical time of year. The directing style fit the script perfectly, using the bright cinematography to immerse you in the world and the acting was spot on, attaching you to their character development with ease. As a lover of the holiday season, Last Christmas was the perfect fim to curl up at home and watch with your lover, family, or friends, as there truly is something in it for everyone. Warning-lots of swearing! Have the subtitles on to get the gist of an exchange in Croatian. Besides the feel-good musical memory lane trip, I loved seeing Michelle Yeoh so girly for a change in character! Make time of the bonus features-Director Paul Feig had some wardrobe on-set-loved his hats!
Did enjoy the Christmas show segment.

Being an Emilia Clarke fan and Emma Thompson, a HUGE Christmas lover and even bigger fan of a good love story I sooooo wanted to love this movie; but alas it was not so. This movie started off slow, and the story really never gelled. Too many holes left unfilled and it dragged. This movie was a waste of both talents.

Maybe, just maybe...I was bored from the beginning and therefore did not watch further than the beginning.... Lame and senseless.

While not a horrible movie I saw the "twist" from a mile away and it was pretty lame. Also, I now hate the song Last Christmas, but I still enjoy the rest of George Michael's songs.

Here was a marvelous holiday surprise! A wonderful story set in London at Christmastime, a splendid cast of familiar faces and the always magical music of George Michael. What a pleasure-enjoy this amazing and memorable picture!

I loved the soundtrack of this movie! It was quite endearing. And I love the fact the actor cast wasn't the usual stereotypical hollywood idea of a romantic lead. I have been quite impressed by the actor in other acting he has done such as Crazy Rich Asians.
