Opinion

From Library Staff

Dylan and his cousin Rio decide to raft on the Rio Grande river without Rio's dad, who was supposed to go with them. Big mistake--great adventure. Recommended by Mary

Fourteen-year-old Dylan has come to Big Bend National Park in hopes of rafting the Rio Grande with his cousin and uncle. But when he gets there he finds that his uncle has been called away, so they can't go - or can they?

Good book of adventure. Some tough things are happening during the book which the boys hear about or experience. A murder. Kidnapping and hostage situation. But not too scary for kids this age.
