Reviews from Amazon.com 5.0 out of 5 stars Some things stay the same I like to read these Covington books for the comfort they give in this crazy ever changing and challenging world. People are changing in Covington but one thing does remain constant. The goodness and caring of the Ladies...Amelia, Hannah and Grace. Perfect book to read at the end of a hectic day or any time really. Storyline is around believable events of our time and she gives her veiled opinion of the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, irresponsible men and the gossip mill that happens in church communities. Also less dramatic changes that will add a smile. An enjoyable read that "changes" with each chapter. 5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book, read it almost straight through! The Covington saga continues, always an interesting plot. 5.0 out of 5 stars Joan Medlicott does it again. Another great book by Medlicott. Her writing is so much like real life, it is a pleasure to read. There are lessons in each book about dealing with others. I have read all of the Covington books and enjoyed them immensely. They truly relate to so many readers. 5.0 out of 5 stars I've read it twice and still love the series. I've read it twice and still love the series. Maybe by next year this time Ill read them once again. Love you, Joan Medlicott. . . .wherever you are! 5.0 out of 5 stars Good ole girls.... Love this series. Women will love these women....they have such personalities....and each book has so much to offer us. 5.0 out of 5 stars I love this series. Good character development and story lines. A fun read. 5.0 out of 5 stars If your a Woman & On your Own...READ This! Joan Medlicott is so outstanding. I think there could be something to this for many women who are now on there own and still very independent. 5.0 out of 5 stars Bored? Bought these in Large Print for my mom and she RACED through them - charming and gentle - sweet with no "F-Bombs" - a great read for the great characters and nostalgic! 5.0 out of 5 stars I finished the last book of the series The Ladies of Covington. I am so sad that I finished the series. I wanted it to keep going. I fell in love with all the characters. It's a series that makes you really think about your own life. Your life doesn't have to slow down or stop. 5.0 out of 5 stars The last of the Covington series to date I hope she has another book in the works as I hate to have the series end. I am near the age of these ladies and have enjoyed reading about how they are coping with life in their late 60s and 70s and with widowhood. Joan writes about some of my same concerns and feelings, so I feel as if the Ladies are close friends of mine.
