Nov 14, 2019TEENREVIEWCREW rated this title 4 out of 5 stars
Although I do not understand most of the songs presented in the soundtrack, this soundtrack is actually nice to listen to. It reminds me of different scenes from the feature film. My personal favourite track is Can’t Help Falling In Love by Kina Grannis, because it is used in the wedding scene and it’s the cover of Elvis Presley’s song of the same title. To be honest, most of the songs presented are not exactly my taste and would not be something I would listen to. I would listen to this if I wanted to be reminded of the movie and replay certain scenes from the film. Overall, I would give the soundtrack 3 out of 5 stars. @hibiscusflower of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library. Crazy Rich Asians is an incredible movie that will keep you interested in every part of the movie. The movie is about Racheal Chu, who is dating Nick Young and she does not know that Nick comes from an extremely wealthy family, and she isn’t rich at all. The actors and actresses in this movie did an incredible job. There are also a lot of lessons that can be learned from this movie about family, and it’s just a great movie. This movie is one of the best romantic comedy movie that I have seen so far. In some parts I got really sad and wanted to cry, but overall it’s an incredible movie and you won’t regret watching it! I rate this movie a 5/5 @Khutoria of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Crazy Rich Asians is a romantic comedy released in 2018. The movie’s comedy comes from a few charismatic and funny side characters which were quite enjoyable. The movie follows Nick Young and his girlfriend Rachel Chu on their trip to Singapore for a wedding. As Rachel, an economics professor, is introduced to Nick’s family she finds out they are rich, crazy rich. The contrasting socioeconomic classes create most of the problems in the movie. The cinematography is great and gives you a peek into what it would be like to be crazy rich. The plot did not always follow the archetype for a romance movie but the ending was foreseeable. Overall this is a great movie and I would recommend this to anyone who likes romantic comedies. Four out of five stars. @Nessie of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Crazy Rich Asians, the movie directed by Jon M. Chu is about a woman named Rachel Chu. She is dating Nick Young and decides to accompany him to a wedding in Singapore. What she doesn’t know is that Nick’s family is incredibly wealthy and they’re very famous. On the trip, Rachel learns that she has to deal with all of the problems in her way now, especially Nick’s mother. The Crazy Rich Asians Film is probably one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The cinematography of the movie is beautiful. The editing of all the scenes is very cool and something I haven’t seen in any other movie yet to date. The actors in the movie played their roles very well and I felt like the movie stayed true to the book. The movie took the characters and made them even more three-dimensional than they already were and delivered a great job. I give the movie a 5/5. @CreativityReader of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library.
