If you want to learn to cook, or become a better cook, this book is a good place to start. The author includes lots of pictures showing different foods that were sauted, pan-roasted, steamed, boiled and simmered, etc. She also describes how she stocks her kitchen and stays organized. Lots of cookbooks do this but Music's tips are much more original than most. The book also includes lots of intriguing recipes at multiple skill levels.
